AAOE Consultant Membership
The American Academy of Ophthalmic Executives (AAOE) is a membership organization addressing the needs of those responsible for managing the business side of an ophthalmic practice. AAOE has developed a special membership package for consultants, combining all the benefits of AAOE membership with a listing in the popular Consultant Directory.
How will I benefit from an AAOE Consultant Membership?

How Can I Sign Up?
You will need to submit two endorsements (one from an Academy member) and have three years professional experience, including work with ophthalmic practices. * Corporate members must adhere to the following guidelines when participating in AAOE’s E-Talk:
- Your membership in E-Talk is non transferable. Only the person(s) whose name(s) appear on our consultant directory may participate.
- Your header and footer for each E-Talk comment must state: “consultant comment”.
- You may not solicit your services in e-mail replies or postings.
- You may not invite readers to contact your firm for further information.
- If a reader voluntarily contacts your firm, you may engage in a professional relationship only after you convey – and they agree – your services are separate and apart from AAOE’s general listserv activities.
