    Intravitreal Chemotherapy for Vitreous Seeds in Retinoblastoma

    Although retinoblastoma management has undergone a paradigm shift with improved survival rates, vitreous seeds remain one of the major factors that result in treatment failure. The introduction of intravitreal injection of chemotherapeutic agents has been a breakthrough in the management of advanced retinoblastoma. The initial hesitation to inject an eye with retinoblastoma has resulted in the development of a precise, safe, protocol-based technique of intraviteal injection. This video illustrates the recommended indications and the safe technique of intravitreal chemotherapy for vitreous seeds in retinoblastoma.
