The CDC is urging physicians to look out for cases of ocular syphilis following reports of at least 15 cases since December 2014, from California to Washington. At least 5 other states have suspected cases under investigation.

Drs. David Lally and Jay Duker demonstrate transretinal biopsy of a choroidal tumor using 23-gauge vitrectomy instrumentation. After a 23-gauge pars plana vitrectomy, a 27-gauge needle was inserted transretinally into the tumor and its contents aspirated into a syringe.
