Program Overview
Enhance your coding and documentation knowledge with intensive sessions presented by the American Academy of Ophthalmic Executives® (AAOE®). These sessions are the best way to ensure compliance, appropriately maximize reimbursement and avoid costly audits.
Important Information
- Registration is required to attend coding sessions.
- You are not required to register for the general AAO 2023 annual meeting if you will only attend a coding session(s).
- Due to limited capacity, coding sessions may sell out. Remaining tickets will be sold onsite on a first-come basis.
- Coding session ticket fees include electronic workbook and either breakfast or an afternoon snack.
Credit + Ticket Information
Each coding session requires a separate ticket ($) and is eligible for CME, AAPC and/or IJCAHPO credit (C).
Sessions
Fundamentals of Ophthalmic Coding | 23CODE1 ($/C)
Level: Beginner — Intermediate
Learn the fundamental building blocks of coding through expert instruction and real-world case studies. This interactive three-hour course is developed for staff new to ophthalmology, those who have never received formal training, young ophthalmologists, and those who need a refresher on the ever-changing rules of ophthalmic coding. The audience will actively participate in this fun and educational course, which will feature:
