While removing the last sutures from a corneal graft put in during a penetrating keratoplasty 18 months earlier, Dr. Blanca Sanz-Magallon Duque de Estrada and colleagues are suddenly faced with a full graft detachment, leaving an open-sky eye. The detachment was caused by a partial dehiscence due to poor wound healing.
