    Complex Management with Pupilloplasty, Cataract, IOL, and PPV in a Man with Chronic Uveitis

    Purpose: To present the complex management in a 34-year-old man with chronic, blinding uveitis. Methods: lysis of the dense, fibrotic, complete-pupil membrane and miosis; through a Malyugin ring, cataract extraction followed by in-the-bag toric lens placement; 25-gauge pars plana vitrectomy and triamcinolone for vitreous fibrosis. Results: Corrected and uncorrected distance visual acuity improved from LP to 20/40 with 1-year follow-up. Conclusions: Complex anterior and posterior segment surgery effectively rehabilitated this patient.
