DSEK Push-In Technique
By Francis W. Price Jr., MD
Cornea/External Disease
Dr. Francis Price demonstrates Descemet stripping endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK) in a pseudophakic patient with Fuchs dystrophy. The dysfunctional host Descemet’s membrane and endothelium are stripped, and the donor tissue is pushed into the host eye with a bent 30-gauge needle through a self-sealing scleral tunnel incision.
