  • Drug Discount Card Helps Fill the Gaps in Medical Eye Care

    Published Aug. 22, 2016

A new drug discount card from the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s EyeCare America program can save you money on prescriptions and medical devices.

The free card, which you can use for your whole family, is the latest way in which EyeCare America helps Americans in need.

The card cannot be combined with any government or private health insurance. However, you can use it for real savings when your insurance doesn’t cover a prescription or when the discount card’s price would be lower than your copay.
