    Neuro-Ophthalmology/Orbit

Postinflammatory phase of thyroid-related orbitopathy. (A) Patient with stable congestive thyroid-related orbitopathy, 2 years into course. No compressive optic neuropathy is present, but patient has swelling and periocualr pressure sensation related to orbital congestion, as well as exposure keratopathy from proptosis. (B) Same patient after orbital decompression; edema and chemosis, as well as orbital pressure sensation, improved following release of orbital apical crowding and venous congestion. When proptosis was reduced, exposure keratopathy was slightly improved. (C) Same patient following eyelid repositioning surgery; exposure keratopathy substantially improved.
